Atlanta Historic Dance is excited to announce the 2023 Outlander Ball Atlanta! Held on the campus of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, the ball will feature live 18th century music from England, Scotland, and France. Travel back in time amid 18th-century décor with dance performances and beginner-friendly called dances provided by members of Atlanta Historic Dance. You do not need a dance partner to attend. Period finger foods and non-alcoholic punch will be provided. Learn about dueling with pistols and experience traditional parlor games with your fellow time-travelers. Come ready for a costume contest! The dress code follows the timeline of the books: 18th century attire from any country is preferred; 1940s, 1960s, or modern formal attire is also welcome. If you are interested in renting a gown or kilt see our discussions page on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/events/1145568456114909/?active_tab=discussion
